Batting cage rules
- A. Batters and ball feeders MUST wear helmets inside tunnels at all times.
- B. A waiver must be signed before the use of any of the equipment by any user who is 18 years of age or older (Parent/guardian must sign for any minors).
- C. Adults are responsible for the actions of the youth in the training area. Misconduct will result in immediate termination of privileges. Horse play/fooling around will not be tolerated.
- D. L-screens must be used at all times.
- E. Two people max allowed in the batting cage at a time. An adult pitching or feeding the pitching machine and one batter. All others must remain outside the netted area.
- F. The only people swinging a bat are those inside the individual tunnels.
- G. Do not throw balls back at pitching machines.
- H. Balls may be pitched at any time. BE ALERT at all times.
- I. Batters must wear appropriate shoes or cleats.
- J. No food or drink allowed inside the facility. Apart from water or sports drinks.
- K. Chewing gum, seeds or chewing tobacco are not allowed anywhere in the facility or on the grounds.
- L. Take care of your trash! There is a trash can located next to the schedule board. Please do not leave empty water bottles and trash in or around our facility.
- M. No person under the influence of Drugs or Alcohol is permitted to use the batting cages. There is also no smoking or vaping in the facility or on the grounds .
- N. This is a family atmosphere, no profanity or vulgar language/gestures will be permitted.
- O. All balls must be picked up and returned to their proper place after use.
- P. No backpacks, fanny packs, purses or gym bags may be brought into the individual batting cages. You are responsible for all of your valuable and personal belongings.
- Q. CAUTION! Injuries could result from the use of any or all of this equipment. Users should assume the inherent risks of batting baseballs and softballs. If users have any questions about the use of this equipment or the inherent risks associated with the use of this equipment, ask the attendant before using the batting cages.
- R. Immediately report any batting cage related injury or facility/equipment irregularity to a league official.
